Kent Whittemore
Kent and his wife Kathy, a graduate of Florida State University and a retired ARNP, live in St. Petersburg. Their son, Ryan, has BSBA and MBA degrees from the University of Florida, is a 2014 graduate of Stetson University College of Law and works for Florida Funders, an early stage venture capital fund in Tampa. Their daughter, Erin W. Lohmiller, has a BA degree from the University of Florida and a JD from Stetson University College of Law, was an Assistant State Attorney for Pinellas County for five years, worked at The Whittemore Law Group, P.A. for 10 years, and currently has her own practice, Lohmiller Law, PLLC. Kent and Kathy attend Maximo Presbyterian Church, where they have been active elders. Kent has served as Moderator of the Permanent Judicial Commission of the Tampa Bay Presbytery. Kent and Kathy enjoy traveling, fishing, tennis and golf, with Kent having been a four-time St. Petersburg Country Club golf champion and former Miami Metropolitan Amateur and St. Petersburg City Amateur golf champion.

Decades of experience in virtually all areas of civil litigation, including representing those injured in personal injury, professional liability and products liability litigation. Kent’s experience also includes substantial involvement in insurance litigation, construction and real estate litigation, business litigation and real estate litigation from intake through trial, including non-jury and jury trials.
